Take a step in the right direction and learn how to reduce your carbon footprint at the Delabole Wind Fair 2008! Now in its fourth successful year, the event is being hosted by Good Energy, the UK’s only 100% renewable energy company, on 5th July as part of their campaign to promote greener lifestyles.
The Fair is set to include insightful as well as entertaining activities for people of all ages – from wind turbine tours, forums about generating electricity in the home and exciting green celebrity projects, to yoga workshops, entertainers for the children, and even comical stocks for ‘climate criminals’!
Also stepping up to the challenge will be Brigit Strawbridge from BBC2’s ‘It’s Not Easy Being Green’. Bringing her latest project to the Fair – The Big Green Idea – prepare for some inspirational and expert tips on sustainable living – for everyone!
A free day out packed with fun events and the chance to sample some local and scrumptiously organic food and drink, this is an opportunity to really learn something new and take a look at the fantastic future of our energy.
The Wind Fair takes place at the Delabole Wind Farm, North Cornwall on Saturday 5th July from 11am–6pm.
